Hiroshima Kaki Nori – oyster flavored nori
In March 2009, Hiroshima Kaki Nori was approved by the City of Hiroshima as an official Hiroshima Brand product. It is made completely from Japanese products from the nori seaweed all the way through the special seasoning. What gives Hiroshima Kaki Nori its special flavor is the unique essence of Hiroshima oysters, delivering that rich body and splendid Hiroshima oyster flavor throughout your mouth. No artificial seasonings or additives.
Wasabi Nori
This specialty nori product is made from the finest wasabi, grown with the clean spring and snowmelt water in the Yoshiwa area of Hiroshima. It is the purity of the water that creates such refreshing, stimulating wasabi flavor. The pleasant taste and smell of Wasabi Nori is an excellent complement to cheese and other foods as well as beer and wine, and makes an excellent treat all by itself.
Shio Nori – salty nori
Shio Nori is a topping for nori with moshio, a salt derived from seaweeds harvested by traditional female divers known as ama. For Shio Nori, we use select moshio collected in the Kamagari area in Hiroshima, known for its abundance of natural minerals. To ensure a pleasant flavor, oil is not used in the coating process, delivering a mild flavor with a slight tang for a wonderful moshio experience. No artificial seasonings or additives.
Marutoku Nori has enjoyed a popular following now for sixty years. This product is produced at a sanitary factory, receiving Hiroshima Prefecture’s health management certification. All of the ingredients in Marutoku Nori are made in Japan, and this product was selected as an official Hiroshima Brand product.
